Configuring Service Information
(Mitel Integrated Configuration Wizard)

Information entered on these pages together with the common data from the templates completes the user and device provisioning requirements.

There are two Service Information pages, one for phones and the other for optional services and settings such as DID, and CESID.

Some fields may be "seeded" (pre-filled) with previously entered information from templates or from imported user data. All seeded information is editable.

Service Information for Phones

Each user can be provisioned with an Office Extension, a Dynamic Extension, and a third (Other) phone. The Other extension is typically a MiCollab Client softphone but can be any of the other supported devices as well.

To configure Service Information for phones:

  1. Enter a Last Name and First Name or accept the seeded names.

NOTE: Names are required for users with Speech Auto-Attendant service.

  1. Enter data for each phone or use Autofill to generate it as follows:

  2. Select multiple extensions by dragging across a range of rows.

  3. Click Autofill.

  4. Select Starting Number to autofill OR clear the check box to enter numbers manually.

  5. Select Device/User Type to autofill OR clear the check box to enter device types manually.

  6. Enter a Prefix Digit for Dynamic Extensions to autofill OR clear the check box to enter device types manually.

NOTE: The prefix digit is seeded if entered on the System Parameters page.

  1. Click OK.

  1. Type the telephone number of external Dynamic Extension device.
Each number can be a maximum of 26 characters long and can include digits (0-9), *, #, and P (for pause). The 26-character limit includes the prefix.

NOTE: You can omit the external numbers and enter them later using the System Administration Tool.

  1. Click Next to continue.

Service Information for Optional Services and Settings

Complete the fields on this page for any required optional services or to overwrite COS and COR assignments specified in the user's template.

Any fields that don't apply to a user (as determined by their template) are grayed out.

The DID Number to enter is the one that a user's outgoing calls present to the public network. The incoming DID number which is dialed from the public network to call the user is configured using the Direct Inward Dialing Service form in the System Administration Tool. You need to program both numbers since the terminating digits of the DID number are typically different than the user's directory number (DN).

To configure Service Information for optional services and settings:

  1. Enter a Last Name and First Name or accept the seeded names.

  2. Enter data for each phone or use Autofill to generate it as follows:

  1. Click Next to continue.
